American authorities have long been interested in ufology. In the early 1950s, under Harry Truman, the country launched Project Blue Book, the purpose of which was to collect and analyze reports of UFOs and aliens. Over 18 years of work, specialists have received over 12 thousand reports of mysterious objects.
